The Hifi Club has closed its doors after 15 years of operation

Nov 11 2020, 12:55 am

Welp. This sucks. The Hifi Club has announced that after a 15-year run of hosting epic live DJ sets, dance parties, and more, the art gallery/nightclub is closing.

The 1oth Avenue staple’s team made the announcement on its social media channels Tuesday evening, citing operating costs and the “inability to reach a suitable agreement” with their landlord as the reason for shuttering.

The Hifi Club opened in 2005 and said the closure came after it became clear that “the model of the club will not work in COVID times.”

Here’s the full statement from the club.
