Calgary's first standalone drive-thru Taco Bell is opening next week
While Taco Bell has existed in the city for a while, Calgary is now getting its first standalone drive-thru location, and we finally have word of when it’ll be opening to the public.
On Tuesday, June 17, Taco Bell will open its doors at 1595 32nd Ave. NE. To celebrate, there will even be some freebies for some lucky customers.
The first 100 customers to visit the new outpost on opening day will receive a free taco. As its first day coincides with Taco Tuesday, guests will be able to get their hands on $2 tacos, with a maximum of 10 tacos per order.

Of course, the spot will serve Taco Bell favourites, such as the Crunchwrap Supreme, Cheese Gordita Crunch, and quesadillas. It will also serve nacho fries.
Currently, Taco Bell has two food court locations in the city, one at The Core downtown and one at CrossIron Mills.
