Highs of 21°C and sunshine expected for last weekend of summer in Calgary

Calgarians will have one last chance to soak in the sun this summer.

Mother Nature has seen fit to grace us with a bit of sunshine this weekend, bringing highs of 21°C to YYC for the last weekend of the season, according to The Weather Network.

Of course, going along with the somewhat disappointing theme of weather we’ve been seeing over the past few months, the sunshine will be accompanied by some clouds.

Friday will start things off with a high of 15°C and a mix of sun and clouds, though the day will still manage to see eight hours of sunshine before night arrives.

Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny, the temperature cranking up to 19°C, and only a 20% chance of precipitation.

Sunday ends the weekend off with a high of 21°C (which will be the high for Monday, the actual last day of summer, as well) and a 30% chance of rain.

So while it’s not the scorching hot days we’ve all been hoping for, but it’s still miles better than the cold, cold days to come.
