'SugarLips Dessert House' is launching Calgary's first bubble tea hot pot

SugarLips Dessert House, located atĀ 910 Centre Street N, has been serving up traditional sweet soup, puddings, Mochi, and other desserts since it opened this past spring, but it’s adding YYC’s first-ever Bubble Tea Hot Pot to its menu.
This new dessert craze has touched down in other parts of Canada, but it’s the first time Calgary has seen anything like this.

Launching soon, patrons can choose between two different kinds of brass pots with a combination of toppings such as grass jelly, fresh fruit, hand-pressed taro mochi, and tapioca pearls.
The pot is then filled with cold milk tea, and folks can drink from it directly with straws, or scoop into smaller bowls.
Be sure to make a plan to stop by and start slurping once this has launched.
