This long-time Calgary Starbucks just closed its doors

With all the amazing local coffee spots in YYC, you’d think that losing a Starbucks might not be the end of the world, but that’s certainly not the case with the 1122 Kensington Road NW outpost.

The long-time Kensington Starbucks quietly closed yesterday after serving the neighbourhood for decades.

Because the Seattle-based coffee chain had been here for so long, people are definitely showing their disappointment at the news of the closure online.
