If there’s one thing Calgarians love, it’s a new grocery store, and it looks as though a well-known Canadian-owned shop will be expanding in the city.
Sobeys is set to open a new Calgary grocery store in the West District in the Oak & Olive development.
Listed as coming soon on the West District website, the grocery store will offer a full-service deli, grab-and-go meals and kitchen essentials.

While an official opening date has yet to be announced, the store was initially touted to open in 2025, so stay tuned.
The new store is just one of the many developments in the West District neighbourhood, including foodie hotspots such as the recently opened Pie Junkie and news of a brand-new Village Ice Cream slated to open next year.
