Jasper, Alberta has turned into a winter wonderland in just a few hours, as fluffy snow has been dumping down from the sky throughout Thursday.
The snow came along with a warning from Environment Canada, which expects 10-15 cm of snow to fall in areas of Banff National Park and along the Rocky Mountains in 12 hours.
While it may be making the roads a little less traversable, the pictures of the fresh coat of snow will have the jingle bells ringing, even if it is still technically summer.
Take a look for yourself at what winter has in store for us – though we here in Calgary probably have a few more weeks until a true white-out.
Just out here trying to stay warm! We did not anticipate snow and temperature in the negatives in September, which means we didnt prep the van to withstand the cold nights here. Sleeping, making food and even cleaning up the van is made twice as hard right now. Just got to tough it out a couple days until the sun comes back out! . . .
