Snowfall warning issued for Calgary today

Dec 19 2017, 10:54 am

Brace yourselves Calgarians, another snowfall warning has been issued for today. Anywhere from 5 to 10 centimetres is expected to fall with an anticipated high of only minus 5 degrees.

Drivers are urged to be extra cautious as the Christmas long weekend saw hundreds of accidents on city streets and highways due to slick and icy road conditions.

Fortunately, the snow won’t be falling for long as the weather is expected to turn bright and warm in the coming days. On New Year’s Day, we are expected to hit a hight of 5 degrees and it will warm up to 13 degrees this weekend.
