Well, the sunny streak had to come to an end eventually, Calgary.
YYC has seen a reasonably well-weathered October — if you forget about the snowstorm we started the month with — but as the month comes to an end, so too will the sunny skies we’ve been enjoying for the past few weeks.

Those warm rays of sweet, sweet vitamin D will continue to shine down on us for Halloween, though, so there’s (thankfully) no need to accessorize your costume with an umbrella or rain boots.
November is expected to open with that same sunshine on Thursday, though the day will be a little colder than we’re used to with a high of just 3°C.
The real chill comes on Friday, November 2, when a high of 0°C and flurries throughout the day can be expected, and a good chance of snow throughout the night.
It won’t be quite as bad as it was at the start of October, seeing as Saturday will likely follow up with a warmer day and sunnier skies, but we’ll just have to hold tight to see what the rest of the month has in store for us.
