Classic Calgary.

Summer may have just ended as of Monday, but that’s not stopping Old Man Winter from showing up in Calgary a little early… which should come as no surprise.

Between Monday, September 23 and Friday, September 27, the city of Calgary is expected to get colder and colder by the day, dropping from a high of 16°C on Tuesday to just 2°C on Friday — and the fun doesn’t stop there.

Calgary’s forecast is calling for scattered flurries on Saturday (highs of 0°C and lows of -4°C) and full-on snowfall come Sunday, according to The Weather Network.

It is only expected to be around 3 to 7 cm all told throughout the weekend, but seeing as this is still September we’re talking about here, Calgarians have a right to be a little angry at Mother Nature.

So enjoy the sunshine and warm(ish) days while you still can, Calgary, because winter is apparently starting this weekend.
