Sled Island reveals huge 2025 lineup with hundreds of artists coming to Calgary

Sled Island, one of the coolest festivals in Calgary, has announced its massive lineup for 2025, and fans are in for a smorgasbord of talent.

The long-running event takes place from June 18 to 22, with international stars performing at several venues across the city.

In addition to plenty of live music events throughout the five days, fans can check out comedy shows, art exhibits, special events, and more.

Over 150 more artists were recently announced for Sled Island 2025, including acclaimed singer-songwriter Zola Jesus, LA-based electronic act Baths, Austrian electro-pop musician Sofie Royer, Brooklyn R&B Queen Yaya Bey, and contemporary composer Kara-Lis Coverdale.

Also appearing this year are Montreal psych punks PYPY, San Francisco experimental sound artist evicshen, Boston slowcore trio Horse Jumper of Love, and Japanese classic rock group DMBQ, which was the final selection from 2025 guest curator Otoboke Beaver.

Sled Island will celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day by partnering with Indigenous-led organizations Moments Fest and Drum Beat Entertainment for separate events on June 21. Head to the Ship & Anchor for the Moments Fest showcase featuring acts like SMUTHER, No More Moments, Feartilizer 1492, and Void of Mood.

Over on the King Eddy rooftop patio, guests will enjoy the Drum Beat Entertainment showcase with a lineup of electronic performers like LVL Collective, Creeasian, BLKFT, and DJ Blexxy.

Passes and tickets for the festival events are now on sale. Some shows are already starting to sell out, so get yours before they’re gone.
