One Calgary spot recently added these poutine mash-ups to their menu.
Shawarma Barlow has two options: Beef Donair Poutine (traditional poutine topped with spiced beef shavings, red onion, tomatoes, garlic dip, and parsley) and Chicken Shawarma Poutine (traditional poutine topped with chicken shawarma shavings, red onion, tomatoes, garlic dip, and parsley).
The poutines come in at $9.99 apiece, which makes them affordable feasts to soothe your savage (or tipsy) soul if you are in the NE in the Meridian area.
