Experience Eastern Europe at Calgary's Serbian Fest 2016

Dec 19 2017, 11:28 am

Revel in Eastern European hospitality as Calgary’s Serbian Fest hits the city for another year.

The weekend of May 21 and 22 will be filled with fun activities that are suitable for the entire family, from dancing groups, to sports, to Serbian heritage education, so what better way to spend the Victoria Day long weekend than at Serbian Fest?

If fun activities won’t convince you, then the food will. Think Eastern European with a Mediterranean flair – roasted lamb on a spit, barbecued kebabs, and all the sweets your little heart desires.

Admission is $5 per person aged 10 and up – small children get in for free.

In the wake of the Fort McMurray fires, a portion of all proceeds from Serbian Fest will go towards the Red Cross Alberta Fires Appeal.

Serbian Fest 2016

  • When: Saturday, May 21 to Sunday, May 22
  • Where: 16025 – 243 Avenue East, De Winton
