Sobeys Inc. has reported that an employee at a Safeway location in Calgary has tested positive for COVID-19.

The food retailer confirmed that an employee who was working at the Safeway at 8120 Beddington Boulevard NW has tested positive.

This staff member last worked on September 25.

The company also says it is working closely with public health officials to investigate the teammate’s known points of contact and recent shifts and will notify all employees who require self-isolation for two weeks.
