Popular restaurant known for its smash burgers to open new Calgary location
An Ontario burger shop known for its smash burgers is gearing up to open its second Calgary outpost this fall.
Rosie’s Burgers, a neighbourhood burger joint, is setting up shop in Bridgeland, located at 206 4th St. NE.
With the tagline “just the classics,” Rosie’s Burgers offers a menu of nostalgic favourites that wouldn’t look out of place at your local diner.
The popular spot offers eats such as smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, poutine and onion rings.

For those looking for a sweet treat, it even serves up housemade banana pudding, chocolate chip cookies, and handspun milkshakes in a variety of flavours.
Founded by Daniel, Dustin, and Bryan Gelman in 2020 and named after their beloved grandmother, Rosie’s has opened outposts in Mississauga and Toronto.
Rosie’s Burgers made its first venture out west late last year, with its first location on 8th Street SW.
To celebrate the upcoming opening, Rosie’s Burgers will be giving away 100 free smash burgers at its new Bridgeland outpost from 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13.
