If you’re looking for one of the most livable spots in Canada, you won’t have to search too far. An Alberta municipality was just ranked among the top spots in the country.
The Globe and Mail recently released a list of Canada’s top 100 most livable cities, and Rocky View County found itself on the list.
The ranking assessed 454 cities using 58 variables across 10 categories, including economy, housing, demographics, health care, safety, education, community, amenities, transportation, and climate. It compared 454 cities across the country.
“Our rankings are designed to help Canadians identify communities where they can flourish based on their individual circumstances,” wrote The Globe and Mail.
Located just outside of Calgary, Rocky View County came in 75th place. The county surrounds the city on the north, west, and east sides. The municipality includes a mix of rural communities, hamlets, and growing residential areas, such as Balzac, Langdon, Bragg Creek, and Bearspaw.
