Popular downtown Calgary cocktail bar is set to close at the end of summer
Calgary has seen its fair share of restaurant and bar closures over the last few weeks, and now, we’ve just got word of another.
Ricardo’s Hideaway, the popular haunt for rum-based cocktails and endless summer vibes, has revealed it’s saying “bon voyage” at the end of summer, after a decade in business.
To celebrate an epic ten years at its home just off 17th Avenue, Ricardo’s will be hosting a summer-long farewell party to see it out in style.

As part of the festivities, there’ll be surprise rum specials, late-night endless jerk crab and wings and $10 rum cocktails.
Ricardo’s farewell celebration will officially kick off on June 10 and run throughout the summer, so there’s plenty of time to say goodbye.
