Starbucks’ Red Cup Day is back and here are all the details

It’s the best time of year, Red Cup Day is returning to Starbucks for the holiday season!
Each year, Starbucks runs its own holiday tradition, giving back to the dedicated fans who stick with it thick and thin. It gives out free cups after customers purchase one of its holiday menu drinks, which the coffee chain has recently dropped.

Starting Thursday, Nov. 13, customers who order a handcrafted holiday beverage at participating Starbucks stores across Canada will receive a free 2025 limited-edition reusable Red Cup, while supplies last.
For this year, the 2025 Red Cup is made with 95 per cent recycled material, is grande-sized (16 ounces), and features a hand-drawn illustration by Starbucks designer Yvonne Chan.
“The design is inspired by the little moment of magic you feel when you step into a Starbucks from the cold outside,” said Chan. “With the hand-drawn sketch, I tried to capture the feeling of something crafted by one person for another.”
Not only do you receive a reusable cup, but customers who bring in their clean reusable red cup (or any cup, for that matter) will receive a 10-cent discount on their beverage.
Your favourite drinks are back, with the Sugar Cookie Oat Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Cream Matcha Latte, and Iced Gingerbread Oat Chai returning this year.
For those who want to look at the full holiday menu, we’ve got all the details on that, too.
Enjoy your coffee, everyone, and don’t miss out on Starbucks’ most anticipated day of the year!
