The Coroner’s Office of Quebec has revealed the names of the six victims who died in the terrorist attack on a mosque in Quebec City on Sunday night.
The victims, who were at the mosque for prayers when someone entered and began shooting, were aged between 39 and 60 years old.
They have been named as:
- Mamadou Tanou Barry, 42
- Abdelkrim Hassane, 41
- Khaled Belkacemi, 60
- Aboubaker Thabti, 44
- Azzeddine Soufiane, 57
- Ibrahima Barry, 39
In a release, the Coroner’s Office offered its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and everyone, near or far, who has been affected by the tragedy.

On Monday, Quebec Police said one suspect, Alexandre Bissonnette, is facing six charges of first-degree murder, and five charges of attempted murder.
