6 places to get Prime Rib in Calgary

Dec 19 2017, 11:22 am

It’s no secret that Alberta’s beef is second to none (can we get a “hell yeah!” to that?) so it’s no wonder, then, that Calgary has some excellent options when it comes to Prime Rib.

Take the beef rib primal cut, slow roast it on the bone, then slice it to order in succulent portions, and you’ve got the makings of a mighty fine meal. Add on all sorts of toppings from rich sauces to mounds of seafood, and bring on sides like classic Yorkshire pudding or fresh veggies, and you’ve got a prime meal.

Here are six great places to get Prime Rib in Calgary.

Vintage Chophouse & Tavern

In the classic steakhouse tradition, Vintage Chophouse has their meat a la carte, including their Prime Rib, which is $32 for a 10oz cut, and $41 for a 16oz cut. Sumptuous sides include a half-pound of King Crab Legs or Truffled Mac and Cheese, while more classic options include baked potato, a variety of roasted fresh veg, or Jalapeño Cream Corn.
