1st ever Pond Skimming World Cup coming to Sunshine Village

The first ever Pond Skimming World Cup will take place at the Sunshine Village Ski Resort in Banff as part of the three-day 2016 Slush Cup this May.

Qualifying events have already been held at resorts around North America, to select local men’s and women’s champions to compete for the world cup in Banff.

The Pond Skimming World Cup will be held on Monday, May 23, on the third day of the Slush Cup, the annual celebration of all things pond skimming at Sunshine Village.

Tickets: Three day passes to the Slush Cup cost $119 plus GST.
