With a pair of days off on their Western Canadian road trip, the Pittsburgh Penguins took practice outdoors today in Calgary.
Fresh off a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames, Penguins players skated on the outdoor rink at Valley Ridge Community Association — and they picked the perfect day for it.

The Penguins’ official social media accounts captured the experience, as did some of the players and traveling media members on their personal accounts.
The calm blue sky.
The cold, crisp air.
Youthful exuberance.
