Calgary just got a new restaurant offering authentic Caribbean food
We love a restaurant that gives us vacation vibes, and now, YYC has a new addition. A new Caribbean restaurant bringing island vibes to Calgary has just opened its doors.
One Love Caribbean opened at 1510 6th St. SW, just off 17th Avenue, taking over the space previously occupied by Simply Irie.
Offering a taste of island life right in the heart of the city, One Love has a curated menu of Caribbean small bites, larger dishes, and sweet treats.

Diners will be able to try out favourites such as Jamaican patties, fried plantain, and spicy fries.
For larger plates, there are options such as oxtail, curry goat, and jerk chicken, shrimp, and tofu, alongside classic sides such as rice and peas.
While One Love offers both indoor and patio seating, its dishes are also available for delivery.
