Tons of oil and gas companies are hiring in Alberta and the jobs pay so well
There are plenty of jobs up for grabs in Alberta right now, and there are tons of well-paying ones in the oil and gas industry.
We scrolled through Indeed and found plenty of opportunities, including everything from entry-level positions to some that pay upwards of $250,000 annually.

H2Oil Energy Inc. — Equipment Operator – Combo-Vac & Hydro-Vac
What: H2Oil is an industry leader in fluid hauling and industrial vac services in the Peace Region. This job requires a commitment to working safely, a valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s licence, a clean five-year commercial driver’s abstract, and two years of oilfield hauling/back road experience.

Skyline Well Testing — Flowback & Production Testing – Supervisors/Assistants (oilfield labour)
What:Â Skyline Well Testing is hiring for all Flowback & Production Testing positions. New to the industry, general labour and all experience levels, and they offer local Grande Prairie, hotel and camp-based work, competitive wages, subsistence allowance (when applicable), health benefits, RRSP matching, and a referral hiring bonus program.

What: This company is hiring Class 1 Drivers for crude oil hauling throughout Alberta. Drivers will operate super B tankers. Home base is in Edmonton, and hauls will be within Alberta’s oilfield regions.

What:Â This company is hiring for water well rig labourers, which is a physically demanding job that requires at least a Class 5, 3, or 1 driver’s licence.

Challenger Technical Services Ltd. — Remedial Cementing Supervisor
What: This company is looking to fill its Remedial Cementing Supervisor position, offering temporary relocation and rental assistance options available for out-of-town applicants who are willing to relocate to one of our locations or near Lloydminster or Elk Point. A crew truck will be provided, with a schedule of 15 on and six days off.

Salary: $85,000 to $105,000 per year
Ensign Energy Services Inc. — Motorhand
What: The motorhand role works with the floorhand on the drilling rig floor, handling drilling equipment. This role is typically responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the engines and other equipment on location. The motorhand works closely with the floorhand and driller, and may relieve the driller once qualified to do so. If there is a designated trade person on site, the motorhand will assist with maintenance or focus their activities on working with the floorhand(s) and assisting with other tasks.
