New York City’s iconic Katz’s Delicatessen is no longer a treat you have to travel south of the border for.

For the first time ever, this deli’s delicacies – from pastrami to corned beef, matzoh ball soup, latkes and more – can be exported directly to Canadian homes.

“We have worked to expand our home shipping service internationally for many years now, and we are thrilled for Canada to be the first country we export to,” said Katz’s Deli owner Jake Dell, in a press release.

“It’s a huge moment of growth for us, as we are still very much a family-run local business at heart. We’re so excited to be able to share this special deli experience we’ve created over the last 130 years with our neighbours to the north.”

Katz’s meats and other classics are officially available individually, or for order through a package deal.

For example, the Three Course Meal (a favourite of Oprah’s, apparently!) offers a little bit of everything, including matzoh ball soup, hand-carved pastrami and corned beef, and chocolate babka.

And if you’re wanting a slice of the Big Apple, the Taste of New York will serve it up with pastrami, corned beef, salami, frankfurters and all the fixins.

The spot is even offering a subscription service so real meat-lovers can get a monthly pastrami fix.

All these goods are available online and can be ordered all across Canada. So, what are you waiting for?
