You can get coffee-infused poutine in Canada right now

Smoke’s Poutinerie has dreamt up yet another wacky way to amp up their poutine.

And, just in time for #EXAMSZN, this one is packed with caffeine.

The eatery’s new Red Eye Poutine is made with the traditional fresh-cut fries, squeaky cheese curds, and piping hot gravy. But the dish is elevated to new heights with roasted red peppers and coffee-rubbed flat iron steak.

The creative combo offers diners hints of coffee, cinnamon and chili, plus the caffeine fix necessary to get through those final essays.

“This year, Smoke is focused on bringing weird, wild and whacky poutine concoctions to our Plaid Nation Fans through unique flavour combinations and food mashups,” says Ryan Smolkin, Founder and CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer) of Smoke’s, in a press release.

“The Red Eye Poutine unites Poutine and coffee in one energy packed meal. It’s the perfect solution to getting our student fans through all-nighters so they ace their exams this spring!”

The Red Eye Poutine will be available at eateries across Canada until May 5, and you can find it on many food-ordering apps as well.
