Check out these new murals around downtown Calgary this summer

Calgary’s been getting more colourful this August.

The Beltline Urban Mural Project (BUMP) Festival has been ongoing throughout the month, and has already seen a handful of new murals take shape throughout downtown Calgary.

Over 20 new pieces of artwork are expected to be completed by the end of the festival, and five have already received their finishing touches according to the most recent update from BUMP organizers.

Another 11 are currently in progress, and more artists are expected to start their own projects this week, the release states.

BUMP Festival has also created a number of self-guided tours, one of which takes you on a walking tour of some newly completed and in-progress works of art.
