These 10 neighbourhoods are the most expensive in Calgary right now

If you’ve wandered around Calgary and found some neighbourhoods with prime locations and mega homes, you may have wondered if they belong to some of the most expensive in the city.

According to the digital real estate platform Wahi, several neighbourhoods in the city have some seriously luxurious properties for sale, resulting in a wickedly high median sold price.

When looking at all home sales across Calgary in June, a whopping nine neighbourhoods surpassed the $1,000,000 mark for a median sold price.

The 10 most expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary across all property types with at least five sales are as follows:

  1. Upper Mount Royal with a 2025 median sold price of $3,625,000
  2. Hounsefield Heights-Briar Hill with a 2025 median sold price of $1,869,000
  3. Britannia with a 2025 median sold price of $1,800,00
  4. Parkhill with a 2025 median sold price of $1,450,000
  5. Aspen Woods with a 2025 median sold price of $1,304,250
  6. Parkdale with a 2025 median sold price of $1,200,000
  7. Discovery Ridge with a 2025 median sold price of $1,120,500
  8. Hamptons with a 2025 median sold price of $1,035,000
  9. Parkland with a 2025 median sold price of $1,011,900
  10. Springbank Hill with a 2025 median sold price of $978,750

Wahi added in its report that the median sold price for houses in those expensive Calgary neighbourhoods has risen wildly since last year, with Hounsefield Heights-Briar Hill’s median sold price sitting at $630,000, Discovery Ridge at $629,200, and Upper Mount Royal at $2,520,000.

When it comes to the least expensive Calgary neighbourhoods in June, Windsor Park led the pack at a median sold price of $234,950, followed by Sunalta and Mission at $259,000 and $277,500, respectively.
