These 4 Calgary neighbourhoods are the most in demand right now

It’s warming up here in Calgary as we embrace summer, and it seems that the demand for homes in some neighbourhoods is also heating up.
According to the digital real estate platform Wahi, several neighbourhoods in the city have some homes selling quickly, resulting in a short lifespan for active listings.
When looking at all property sales across Calgary in June, these four neighbourhoods saw an average of days on the market hit or even fall below two weeks.
The fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary in June, with at least five sales, were:
- Rideau Park, with an average of 14 days on the market
- Parkhill, with an average of 13 days on the market
- Oakridge, with an average of 12 days on the market
- Britannia, with an average of four days on the market
The communities of Riverbend and Discovery Ridge also saw homes sit on the market for a short period, averaging 15 days on the market.
Out of those four neighbourhoods with homes coming on and off the market in two weeks or less, Oakridge had the lowest median sold price at $652,500, while the community of Britannia led the pack with a median sold price of $1,800,000.
When it came to the slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary last month, Eau Claire took the top spot with an average of 109 days on the market, followed by Downtown West and Chinatown at 64 days, and Pine Creek at 58 days.
