These 10 neighbourhoods are the most expensive in Calgary right now

The housing market in Calgary may be in a bit of a fluctuation right now, and it seems that some neighbourhoods are wildly expensive compared to others right now.
According to the digital real estate platform Wahi, several neighbourhoods in the city have some seriously luxurious homes for sale, resulting in a wickedly high median sold price.
Last month, single-family homes moved the fastest in Calgary. When looking at the average days on the market, condos sat on the market for an average of 36 days, compared to single-family homes, which took an average of 27 days to sell, according toĀ Benjy Katchen, CEO of Wahi.Ā
When looking at all home sales across Calgary in March, six neighbourhoods surpassed the $1,000,000 mark for a median sold price.

The 10 most expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary with at least five sales are as follows:
- Hounsfield Heights with a 2025 median sold price of $1,135,000
- Altador with a 2025 median sold price of $1,119,000
- North Glenmore with a 2025 median sold price of $1,110,950
- Elboya with a 2025 median sold price of $1,065,000
- Banff Trail with a 2025 median sold price of $1,049,950
- West Hillhurst with a 2025 median sold price of $1,024,000
- Richmond with a 2025 median sold price of $950,800
- Crestmont with a 2025 median sold price of $940,500
- Springbank Hill with a 2025 median sold price of $936,000
- Winston Heights with a 2025 median sold price of $930,000
Wahi added in its report that the median sold price for houses in those expensive Calgary neighbourhoods has risen wildly since last year, with Banff Trail’s median sold price sitting at $733,500, Elboya at $909,750, North Glenmore at $1,059,500, Altadore at $995,000, and Hounsfield Heights at $629,600.
Wahi added that the economic uncertainty created by the trade war is having an impact on homebuyer demand. Based on its overbidding/underbidding for Calgary neighbourhoods in the first quarter of 2025, Wahi is seeing bidding activity come to a standstill, which is consistent with other large markets.
If you are on the hunt for more Calgary real estate, a house that just landed on the market for $4.2 million is one you’ve probably floated past on the Elbow River, and these five neighbourhoods are the most in-demand in our city.
