Do any of these look familiar? The list of the most popular baby names of 2015 was released by Babycentre.ca and coming in at number one is Emma for girls and Liam for boys.

The top three most popular girl names remain unchanged from 2014, while Liam stole the top spot for boys from last years’ winner, Jackson, which fell to number two.

New entires for girls in 2015 include Madelyn, Mila, Madison, and Isabelle. Brooklyn, Sophie, and Aubrey fell out of the top 20 this year.

For boys, Ryan, Lincoln, and Caleb made an appearance on the list, replacing Nathan, Owen, Gabriel, and Aiden. Aiden has been in the top 10 for the past five years, but dropped all the way to number 31 for 2015.

Many parents were opting for gender-neutral or masculine names for their girls this year. While none of these made the top 20 list, Blake, Lennon, Drew, Hunter, Ferguson, Palmer, Henley, Wyatt, London, Oakley, Ryker, Scottie, and Wynn made an appearance.

The influence might largely be attributable to celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively choosing traditionally masculine names for their female children; the couple chose James for their girl, while Kristen Bell’s daughter is named Lincoln.

The royal family might have helped boost the popularity of the name Charlotte with the birth of the second baby of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
