“With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of The Monkey Top Saloon which caught on fire late last night,” the bar said in a Facebook post.
The Monkey Top Saloon is one of Bentley’s most popular spots and was one of the town’s most iconic historic buildings, dating back to the 1900s, so the temporary closure is a huge loss to the community.
However, the team behind the restaurant promises to rebuild following the blaze.
“We will rebuild and be back to The Monkey Top we all know and love,” the post continued.
Hopefully, it won’t be too long before Monkey Top Saloon is back up and running again.
