Check out an outdoor hockey mini putt course at CF Market Mall

Outdoor mini putt and November in Calgary may not initially sound like the ideal pairing, but just hear us out here.

CF Market Mall has created a hybrid golf and hockey experience that combines mini putt, hockey sticks, and some seriously Canadian activities (including bundling up in those toques, scarves, and mittens to spend some quality time outdoors).

According to a release from CF Market Mall, part of its parking lot has been turned into  the Frozen Fairways, which features a nine-hole mini putt course with Canadiana themes at each hole, and replaces the standard putter and golf ball with a hockey stick and puck.

Participants will enjoy imagery of curling, hockey, ice fishing, sugar shacks, and more as they make their way through the course.

The release also notes that the entire event is COVID-19 safe, with Alberta Health guidelines being enforced through physical distancing, sanitation stations, and a limited number of guests at any given time.

Those hoping to try their hand at the Frozen Fairways can do so between now and November 22 by registering online for free.
