Two men charged in second-degree murder following Lethbridge homicide

Two men have been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

45-year-old Kenrick Leonard First Rider was found dead around 7:30 am on Monday, November 27 following what police believe had been a verbal dispute between First Rider and two young men, according to a release from the Lethbridge Police Service.

Police investigations found that the situation escalated into a physical fight, the release states, leaving First Rider with fatal injuries.

At around 5:20 pm that same day, 23-year-old Rylan Wyatt Twigg arrived at the police station and was arrested without incident.

After a public tip, 19-year-old Simon Danny Scout was also arrested.

The two have both been charged with second-degree murder in connection to First Rider’s death.

The investigation is ongoing.
