McDonald’s Canada has announced that an employee at one of their Calgary locations has tested positive for COVID-19.

On September 25, a McDonald’s employee from its 2665 Sunridge Way NE location reported that they tested positive for coronavirus.

The employee’s last shift was on September 19 from 9 am to 5 pm. All staff who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation by a third party.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any customers who may have visited the restaurant on September 19 to take direction from experts at Alberta Health Services.
