Highly-anticipated restaurant/cafe opens inside New Central Library
Calgary’s newest local joint-venture, Lukes Central Library, is about to officially open its doors.
Located in the New Central Library in the heart of downtown Calgary, which officially opens tomorrow, the restaurant/cafe is brought to us by Gareth Lukes (Lukes Drug Mart) and Chef Eric Hendry (Model Milk, Baf Von Der Fels).

The beautiful new downstairs restaurant (designed by FRANK Architecture) is open today until 4 pm for a soft open, the upstairs cafe will open Thursday, November 1.
Patrons can expect eats like stunning salads, risottos, chicken congee, porridge, sandwiches, and treats from local purveyors like Pretty Sweet YYC to name a few.

The entrance to the downstairs restaurant is located directly across the street from City Hall Station on the NW side of the building (right next to where the CTrain enters the building).
Come mid-November, Lukes Central Library will be launching a beer, wine, and cocktail program too.
