You’d better check your Lotto Max tickets if you play the lottery in Alberta, as three winning tickets sold in the province have netted some serious cash.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) says last night’s Lotto Max draw saw multiple tickets purchased win big, with the mega-winning tickets scattered throughout the province.
The biggest winner was one lucky player who won one of the eight Maxmillions prizes that were up for grabs. The million-dollar-winning ticket was purchased somewhere in the province, outside of Calgary and Edmonton. The winning numbers for the Maxmillions prize were: 8, 15, 23, 27, 29, 32 and 41 (exact match only).
The WCLC added that another Albertan won $333,333.40 on a second Maxmillions draw, sharing the million-dollar prize with two other tickets purchased somewhere in Ontario and Quebec. This ticket was also purchased somewhere in the province outside of Calgary and Edmonton. The winning numbers were: 2, 5, 20, 21, 30, 37 and 42.
Another Albertan won a $100,000 Extra prize on last night’s draw. The winning selection was: 1995105; the winning ticket matched the last six digits.
