Three lottery tickets sold in Alberta just netted some BIG cash
It seems as though luck was in the air this weekend, as three people in Alberta are walking away with some life-changing lottery prizes.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) says someone in Alberta is $1 million richer after winning Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball draw.Ā The million-dollar-winning ticket was purchased somewhere in the province, outside of Calgary and Edmonton.
The lucky winning numbers were 35679933-01 (exact match only).
There were also two Extra winners, with a ticket purchased in Calgary winning $100,000 on Extra, and another purchased somewhere in the province outside of Calgary and Edmonton. Both tickets matched six of the seven Extra digits.
The winning Extra number for the Aug. 9 draw was 6048991.
The winner or winners have one year to claim their prize and can start by contacting Player Care at 1-800-665-3313.
