The Calgary Zoo is hosting an “Adults Only” edition of their escape experience, Locked Zoo, on March 26, and the name of the game is âPenguin Pursuit.â
Gather your household (or cohort) team of up to six people, and get ready to find clues, solve puzzles, and save the day â all while checking out adorable animals.

The outdoor-only event runs from 4 to 8 pm, with staggered entries â however, the game itself isnât timed. You can rush to complete the challenge, or take your time visiting the zoo animals and conquer the Locked Zoo at your leisure.
The Zoo is open to the public until 5 pm, and after that 18+ players will have the place to themselves, without any kids underfoot.
To make things extra fun, adult beverages will be available for purchase at the Safari Lodge bar throughout the evening.
The Zoo encourages players to add some extra fun by dressing as a team in coordinating outfits, shirts, or accessories, but be aware that full-body costumes, full face masks, and blow-up costumes canât be worn on zoo grounds.
Players even have the option of adding on a yummy dinner box to round out their evening. Choices include short rib mac and cheese, crispy chicken and waffles, a smokehouse pulled pork sandwich, or a deluxe Beyond Meat vegan burger.
