Lime took over Neuron and is now coming to these Alberta towns and cities

Lime Technology Canada has announced it has taken over the operations from Neuron in numerous regions across the country, including some major cities in Alberta.
Lime says it will operate for the first time in neighbouring Saskatchewan, while assuming Neurons’ operations in several spots in Alberta following a brief transition period, including in;
- Lacombe
- St. Albert
- Beaumont
- Blackfalds
- Sylvan Lake
- Red Deer
- Calgary
- Airdrie
The company added that running expanded operations in Canada will position Lime to potentially expand its service in other regions, such as Vaughan, Ont., and Edmonton, Alta.
Lime will work with Neuron and city partners to provide uninterrupted micromobility service to ensure riders can continue to rely on micromobility, and Lime will assume operations from Neuron on a city-by-city basis throughout the coming months and will ultimately operate its own vehicles under the Lime brand.
“Through our existing service in Canadian cities, we’ve seen strong potential for the role micromobility can play across the country,” said Wayne Ting, CEO of Lime, in a news release. “That’s why we’re excited to bring Lime’s global operational expertise to even more Canadian riders. This new operating agreement allows us to deepen our roots in the country to ensure that shared micromobility remains a reliable, permanent fixture of the urban transportation mix.”
