Get all the kim chi and K-Pop your heart desires at the Korean Day Festival in Calgary this August.

The festival, now in its 13th year, will be celebrating and showcasing Korea’s unique culture at Glenmore Athletic Park on Saturday, August 13.

As well as traditional Korean music and dance performances, there’ll also of course be K-Pop, kim chi and bulogi, plus a lively parade.

Organizers says the festival aims to express gratitude to Korean War veterans and give younger Korean Calgarians a better understanding of their own roots.
