Inglewood Night Market returning with holiday editions next month

The Inglewood Night Market is on its way back to Calgary.

The popular night market hosted its last summer edition in September, but has just announced its plans to reopen this November — just in time for the holiday season.

Given that the weather in Calgary has begun to take its turn for the cold, organizers have announced that the November edition will take place in the retail space below the South Bank apartment complex.

“Shoppers can expect the most up-to-the-minute trends from Calgary’s best makers, showcasing distinctive products and unique gift options,” said Shannon McNally, Night Market Event Producer, in the release.

“Safety is once again our top priority for the market, offering lots of space to shop, as well as providing an opportunity for real community connectivity. Inglewood continues to be a strong and committed community dedicated to local business, and we intend to continue highlighting the special qualities of this historic neighbourhood and the importance of supporting local small business.”

Those hoping to attend the November night markets will need to purchase their $5 ticket ahead of time to reserve their place in a two-hour time slot.

The Inglewood Night Market Holiday Edition will run on November 6, 13, 20, and 27.

Dogs are not permitted, and masks are required. Organizers also suggest dressing according to the weather, due to retail locations being separated by outdoor spaces.
