Indigo store in northwest Calgary closing its doors this month

Shoppers have little time to enjoy an Indigo store in Calgary’s northwest, with the Dalhousie location closing its doors later this month.

Daily Hive has learned that the store, located at 5005 Dalhousie Drive NW, will have its last day of operation on Saturday, January 25.

It’s not known why the store will be closing and how many jobs will be impacted.

There are currently seven Indigo stores operating in Calgary, along with one Chapters store, which is owned by Indigo.

The bookstore chain was founded back in 1996 and is headquartered in Toronto.
