Idris Elba marries former Ms. Vancouver Sabrina Dhowre in Morocco

Hollywood star and heartthrob Idris Elba has officially tied the knot with former Ms. Vancouver Sabrina Dhowre.

The pair were married on April 26 in Marrakech, Morocco. According to British Vogue, the wedding celebrations took place over three days.

Elba proposed to Dhowre in February 2018 at London, England’s Rio Cinema. The pair met in 2017 while Elba was in town to film “The Mountain Between Us” with actress Kate Winslet.

When speaking with PEOPLE magazine about the making of the film, Elba said, “Falling in love while making a movie about falling in love is pretty special.”

Dhowre was crowned Ms. Vancouver in 2014.
