People are sharing their incredible pics of ice skating on Lake Louise (PHOTOS)

After a video went viral last week of a man ice skating on the breathtaking Lake Louise in Alberta, people are taking to social media to share their pictures and videos of winter on the lake.

Lake Louise in Banff National Park is home to stunning views year round, with emerald green waters enveloped by endless mountains.

Now that the lake is frozen over and the mountains are snow-capped, there’s no way to describe it other than breathtaking.

The lake has only ever looked like this a handful of times, because its difficult to catch pictures before it gets dusted with snow.

The original viral video was posted to Instagram by @pedromcbride to nearly 125,000 views on November 9, but it has since been uploaded to Twitter, where it now has more than 941,000 views.

The lake is now covered with snow, but you can check out the video and the incredible pictures people shared on the lake below:
