Considering a new career? Making the switch can feel daunting, but a little perspective can make all the difference. If you’re looking for a safe bet, why not start with the most in-demand job markets in Alberta?
The Government of Alberta has been reviewing compiled data to paint a picture of what the next three-year job market forecast could look like.
Out of a list of occupations, researchers then categorized them according to the following criteria:
- Hot: Far more jobs than job seekers
- Warm: More jobs than job seekers
- Balanced: Enough jobs for those looking for work
- Cool: Fewer jobs than job seekers
- Cold: Far fewer jobs than job seekers
So maybe before committing to a new career, double-check to see whether your dream job is “hot” or not.
