We know it’s officially that time of year with the imminent arrival of several festive holiday pop-ups, taking over some of Calgary’s most popular bars and restaurants over the next few weeks.
Whether you’re already well into the thick of holiday celebrations or you need a gentle push to get there, these spots will fit the bill with seasonally appropriate cocktail lists, fun decor, and so much more.
Miracle on First Street
One of Calgary’s most popular seasonal cocktail bar pop-ups is returning to the city once more. Until Dec. 24, Proof will be transformed into a winter wonderland and serve up plenty of festive sips in iconic glassware.

If you’re looking to get your hands on some holiday-themed cocktails with a tropical twist, look no further than Ricardo’s Hideaway.
With festive sips such as the Silent Nightcap and Wreck the Halls, and even some new zero-proof concoctions, you’ll get all the vacation and holiday vibes rolled into one.

Eighty-Eight Brewing Company’s Home Alone House
The season also sees the return of Eighty-Eight’s festive Home Alone house, inspired by the classic Christmas movie. With nods to so many classic holiday movies, there’s no better way to ring in the season.
Not only will there be West Bandits Triple IPA and cheese pizza aplenty, but there will also be a ton of cool events, such as a gingerbread house bake-off, drag shows, holiday trivia, and so much more.

Fa La La La La Lounge
For the first time, Tops Pizza South will be bringing its Fa La La La La Lounge to life for the holidays. There’ll be handcrafted festive cocktails adorned with everything from mini gingerbread men to Rudolph’s red nose.
There’ll also be Christmas tree-shaped pizzas, eggnog cheesecake, and so much more. Â
