New smoothie bowl spot is offering freebies for its opening in Calgary this weekend
A new acai bowl and smoothie shop is opening this weekend, and Calgarians will be able to get their hands on plenty of freebies and discounts to celebrate.
HEAL Wellness is set to open its first Calgary location on 17th Avenue on February 8, where diners will be able to try its wide selection of handcrafted smoothie bowls.
The spot offers bowls packed with real fruit and ingredients such as acai, pitaya, goji berries, and chia seeds, as well as add-ons like nut butter and protein powders.
To celebrate its first store opening in Mount Royal, HEAL will be handing out free OG acai bowls and branded tote bags to the first 30 guests in line when the store opens at 10 am on February 8.
However, even if you miss out on the freebies, Calgarians will be able to get the OG acai bowls for just $10 all day long.
After opening its first store in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2019, HEAL expanded to 14 locations across Canada, including Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
HEAL is also opening several more Calgary locations throughout 2025 at the University of Calgary, Bridgeland, Kensington, Aspen Landing and downtown, so watch this space!
