Wayne Gretzky and Donald Trump seem to be an inseparable duo these days.

The pair was spotted playing golf last weekend along with Fox News host Bret Baier, and now they will come together to help pull off the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup on Friday.

This event will confirm which countries will play each other in the group stage.

Hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, the FIFA World Cup will stage seven matches in Vancouver and six in Toronto.

Trump is set to attend the draw, which will be held at the JFK Centre for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and he will be joined by a long list of celebrities ranging from sporting legends to entertainers.

Gretzky has been revealed as one of the draw assistants and will be joined by the likes of Tom Brady, Aaron Judge, and Shaquille O’Neal. Eli Manning will be the red carpet host for the event, with footballers Rio Ferdinand and Samantha Johnson conducting the actual draw itself.

On top of the numerous athletes and Trump, there will also be a handful of big-name entertainers at the event. Comedian Kevin Hart will host alongside model/TV personality Heidi Klum and actor Danny Ramirez.

FIFA has also revealed that there will be live performances from Andrea Bocelli, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robbie Williams. The Village People will also perform their 1970s hit song “YMCA” shortly after the draw concludes.

Gretzky has been connected to Trump ever since the 79-year-old politician won his second term as U.S. President last year. The Great One was seen at Trump’s victory party and inauguration, and was also name-dropped by the President in a strange endorsement to be Canada’s next Prime Minister.

The NHL’s all-time points leader has downplayed his political involvement numerous times over the past year. That has not, however, stopped many Canadians from criticizing Gretzky for seemingly cozying up to an American president who has repeatedly called for Canada to become the 51st U.S. state.
