If you always wanted to check out the area around Spray Lakes Provincial Park, but could never quite convince yourself to spend the dough on the getaway to Mount Engadine Lodge, you may just be in luck.
The lodge is launching five brand new glamping sites throughout the area, allowing would-be glampers the opportunity to take in all the natural beauty of the area while still living in (relative) comfort.
Each tent comes decked out with a full bathroom, a king bed, a pullout couch, a chandelier, a grand deck, hardwood floors, a fireplace, and an all-inclusive meal plan.
That’s right, no burned hotdogs during this camping trip.
“We wanted to create a guest experience that immerses our visitors in our world-renowned setting and gets them even closer to the mountains, wildlife and nature,” said Gair Fryers, President and Chief Operating Officer of Castleavery, the parent company of Mount Engadine Lodge, in a release.
“Guests that choose to stay in the tents will still receive the same service and amenities as our other guests including locally inspired cuisine, plush beds and access to the heart of the Canadian Rockies at their doorstep.”
Pets are allowed to stay in the tents with their owners (for a small fee), and glampers will be able to get the Mount Engadine Lodge experience while feeling a little more immersed in the surrounding Spray Lakes Provincial Park, according to the release.
“No visit here is ever the same and with this exciting accommodation alternative, we hope to inspire even more people to come check us out and take in all of the amazing things our lodge and environment offers,” Fryers said.
There’s no official date yet on when the tents will be operational, though the release states that it will be sometime around the end of June 2018.
Prices will run from $450 to $475 a night for double occupancy, and prospective travelers will be able to reserve their stay through the Mount Engadine Lodge website.
